This End User License Agreement (“Agreement” or “EULA”) is a legal agreement between InfoBICS (“InfoBICS”, “Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) and you (“You”, “User”, or “Subscriber”) governing your access to and use of RetailBICS, a custom visual for Microsoft Power BI (“Custom Visual” or “Service”).
By installing, accessing, or using the Custom Visual—whether obtained from Microsoft AppSource or through private distribution—you agree to be bound by this Agreement and the RetailBICS Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference.
“Agreement” means this End User License Agreement.
“Authorized User” means any individual authorized to access Power BI reports containing the Custom Visual.
“Administrator” means an Authorized User with authority to manage licensing or deployment.
“Custom Visual” means the RetailBICS Power BI visual component.
“Content” means any data, datasets, models, or visuals processed within Microsoft Power BI.
“Service” means the RetailBICS Custom Visual and related licensing, support, or validation services.
“Subscriber” means the organization or individual using or licensing the Service.
InfoBICS grants a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to install and use the Custom Visual solely within Microsoft Power BI, in accordance with this Agreement.
You agree not to copy, sell, sublicense, rent, redistribute, reverse engineer, modify, or circumvent licensing or security mechanisms of the Custom Visual, or use it for unlawful or malicious purposes.
All Content visualized using RetailBICS remains the property of the User or their organization.
RetailBICS does not collect, store, or transmit Power BI report data outside the Microsoft tenant.
Use of RetailBICS may require a valid license or subscription.
Evaluation licenses, if provided, are time-limited and may restrict functionality.
InfoBICS provides support services based on the subscribed edition:
RetailBICS Lite:
• Issue resolution within two (2) business days.
RetailBICS Advanced:
• Issue resolution within twenty-four (24) hours.
SLA timelines apply only to confirmed issues directly related to the RetailBICS Custom Visual and exclude Microsoft Power BI outages, data model issues, third-party services, or factors outside InfoBICS’s reasonable control.
InfoBICS may suspend or terminate access upon material breach, licensing violations, or security risks.
Upon termination, all rights granted under this Agreement cease.
RetailBICS operates within the Microsoft Power BI sandbox and security model.
Users are responsible for securing access credentials and tenant permissions.
Each party agrees to protect confidential information disclosed in connection with this Agreement and use it solely for purposes of the Service.
Users must comply with all applicable laws, including export control and sanctions regulations.
THE CUSTOM VISUAL IS PROVIDED AS IS AND AS AVAILABLE WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INFOBICS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED FEES PAID IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR USD 100 IF NO FEES WERE PAID.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless InfoBICS from claims arising from misuse or violation of this Agreement.
RetailBICS operates within Microsoft Power BI.
Use of Microsoft services is governed by Microsoft’s terms.
InfoBICS may update this Agreement from time to time.
Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Agreement.
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Qatar.
